Client Testimonials

The best mixing room in the nation! Brought my album to life and even had an ear for the things I couldn’t hear whether was ear candy or simple adlibs. So thankful for Mix Room especially as a Christian artist. Great communication and got an album of 14 tracks back to me in less than 3 weeks with an update and MP3 of every song as he mastered and went through them. Definitely the place you want to connect with if you’re looking for a professional sound.

- Jamel Brown

I've worked remotely with Mix Room for over two years now and have nothing but the absolute best things to say. Jacob is extremely professional and very invested in everything he produces. We've worked on several songs together and with every song, every single detail has always mattered to him and nothing has ever been rushed or cut short.

I learned real quick that Jacob holds a VERY high standard for himself and as an artist, I get to rest in the fact that my producer genuinely cares and is invested in making perfect every detail. Working with a producer that not only has an INSANE skill set but also insane integrity is why I choose to continue to work with him. I have grown so much as an artist because of Jacob and highly, highly recommended Mix Room for anyone serious about their music.

- Kara Jane

If you're looking to make your songs or recording a reality, Mix Room is the place! Jacob will bring your ideas, your songs, your stories, whatever it may be to life. If you have a song or idea that isnt quite there or just needs new life put into it, Mix Room can help. The insight and experience is unmatched. The demo version of my personal tracks sound better than any finished product I've ever done. Let Mix Room bring your vision to light!

Meet Your Engineer

For two decades, I’ve built my career around one goal: helping artists create records that sound competitive, polished, and ready for the real world.

My foundation started at Larrabee Studios in Los Angeles, one of the most respected mixing environments in the industry, where I learned firsthand what separates an average mix from a professional record.

That experience shaped the way I work today—combining high-level technical skill, musical taste, and clear communication so my clients never feel lost in the process.

Whether you need mixing, mastering, production guidance, or a more focused direction for your song, I deliver a professional, detail-driven experience that helps you make better decisions, save time, avoid frustration, and walk away with a final record you’re proud to release.

If you’re ready to take your music seriously and need an engineer who can help bring your song to a higher commercial standard, you’ve come to the right place.

The next step is to reach out, I would love to hear your music and collaborate on your songs.

FAQ's

What is your turn around time?

Standard mixing projects are completed within 3–7 business days. Mastering typically takes 1–3 business days. Rush options are available for an additional fee when schedules permit. More complex albums may require additional time, which we will communicate transparently upfront.

How much do your services cost?

Pricing is project-based and reflects the complexity, track count, and deliverables. We provide clear, competitive quotes within 24 hours of receiving your material and information. Our rates position us as a premium service while remaining accessible to serious artists and labels. Contact us for a personalized quote.

How many revisions are included?

We include three rounds of revisions with every mixing or mastering project at no extra charge. Additional revisions are available should you require them but will be charged additional for time.. Our goal is your complete satisfaction—most clients are thrilled with the first or second draft.

Will a professional mix actually help my career?

If you are trying to compete with major-label releases, the mix cannot sound small, unfinished, harsh, muddy, or amateur. Professional mixing helps your song translate across real-world listening systems, gives your release more credibility, and helps you feel confident promoting it. The goal is not just to make the song “sound better.” The goal is to help it stand next to commercial records without feeling outclassed.

Why should I hire you instead of someone cheaper?

There will always be someone cheaper. The better question is whether they can help your music compete at the level you are aiming for. You are not just paying for someone to balance tracks. You are paying for taste, experience, communication, problem-solving, and a professional process that helps your song sound finished, credible, and commercially competitive.

What if I've been disappointed by other Mix Engineers before?

That is exactly why the process matters. Before I start mixing, I want to understand your references, your vision, what you like about the current version, and what you feel is missing. The goal is not to force your song through a generic mix template. The goal is to build the mix around the song so it feels intentional, professional, and aligned with where you want to take it.

What if I do not like the final mix?

The process is designed to avoid that. We start with direction, references, communication, and a clear understanding of what the song needs before the final mix is delivered. My goal is not just to send you a file. It is to help you walk away with a release-ready record that feels aligned with your vision and strong enough to promote.

What is the next step?

Send the song, tell me what you are trying to achieve, and I will help you determine what it needs. Whether it is mixing, mastering, production guidance, or a full release-ready approach, the next step is simple: reach out and let’s talk about how to get your music to a commercial level.
